AI opportunity assessment
Before anyone builds anything, find out which process is worth fixing first, and whether your data can actually answer the question you want answered.
The problem
Most AI programmes start in the wrong place
The pilot gets chosen because it is visible, or because a vendor had a demo for it, rather than because it is where the value is and the data exists. A year later the finding is that the history needed to answer the question was never recorded.
How we work on this
Prototype first, then the build you approved.
A 30-minute conversation about how the work actually happens, and where it warrants one, a look at a sample of your data. You leave with a written view of the highest-value starting point, whether the data supports it, and an honest answer on whether we are the right people to build it. Sometimes the recommendation is to do nothing yet, and you get that either way.
What this covers
Capabilities, and where each one stops.
-
Process selection
Which single process to start with, and why that one rather than the visible one.
-
Data readiness check
Whether the history exists, in enough depth, with the outcome recorded, to answer the question you care about.
-
Written recommendation
A short document you can take to a decision-maker, including the case for not proceeding where that is the honest answer.
-
Risk and compliance view
Where the data sits, what the DPDP Act implies for it, and what would need to be true before a pilot.
-
A first prototype, if it warrants one
If the assessment finds a starting point, the next step is a free prototype you can click, not a proposal.
This is not a paid audit and not a roadmap exercise. It answers one question: what, if anything, is worth doing first.
How it is built
Decisions we make the same way every time.
- A sample of your data is enough; no system access required
- Nothing is trained on your data
- Written output, not a slide deck
- No charge, and no obligation to proceed
- The recommendation can be to stop
Where this applies
Industries we have gone deep in, and the rest of the ecosystem.
Questions
The questions people ask about this work.
What does the assessment cost?
Nothing. Neither does the prototype that may follow. You pay only for a production build you have approved.
What do we need to prepare?
One person who knows how the process really works, twenty minutes of their time, and, if it is easy to produce, a sample export of the relevant data.
What if the answer is that we are not ready?
Then you have that in writing, early, with what would need to change. That finding has value too.
