The problem

One person, five systems, no single truth

Recruitment sits in a mailbox, onboarding in a checklist, leave in a spreadsheet, rosters in a group chat and payroll inputs in whatever finance asks for on the 25th. Every one of them is a copy of the same person, and they disagree.

What GrayMatter HRMS is

Hire, onboard, roster, leave, payroll inputs, one record per person.

The employee record and everything that hangs off it: onboarding, documents, attendance and leave, shifts, appraisals, and the monthly inputs payroll needs. Built so HR spends its time on people rather than on chasing forms, and so the Intelligence Platform can see workload and attrition before they become a surprise.

  • Hiring and onboarding

From offer to first day as one flow, with the documents and steps recorded rather than remembered.

  • Rostering and leave

Who is working, who is away, and what that does to cover, visible before the week starts.

  • Payroll inputs

The attendance, leave and variable inputs payroll needs, assembled from the record rather than re-keyed.

We do not run payroll or file statutory returns. We produce the inputs your payroll process needs, accurately and on time.

Who it is for

The people in front of it every day.

  • HR teams in organisations too big for spreadsheets and too small for an enterprise suite
  • Managers approving leave and rosters
  • Finance, for clean payroll inputs

One ecosystem

The intelligence is underneath, not bolted on.

With the Intelligence Platform underneath, capacity and attrition become questions you can ask of the data rather than of a manager's memory.

Questions

What people ask about GrayMatter HRMS.

Does it replace our payroll provider?

No. It feeds them. Payroll processing and statutory filing stay with whoever does them today.

How does it handle data privacy?

Employee data is personal data under the DPDP Act. Access is least-privilege, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is logged.
