Human Opportunity Initiative · Pipeline programme

From Potential to Profession.

Every graduate deserves a pathway to productive work. Not a job title, a working life. This is the pathway we have designed, published before it runs so the people who join it can shape it.

  • Founding partners invited
  • No cohort yet
  1. 01

    Learn

A common foundation, then a specialisation.

  2. 02

    Build

Three things you can show an employer, not twenty certificates.

  3. 03

    Experience

Work before work: 30 to 90 days on real projects.

  4. 04

    Earn

A first job, freelancing or gig work, entered with proof.

  5. 05

    Grow

Upskilling and progression, for a working life rather than a job title.

Human + AI

Not human versus AI. Human intelligence plus artificial intelligence.

Young people should learn to use AI to be more productive, and they should be prepared for the work that still needs a person: judgement, empathy, creativity, communication, leadership, relationships, problem solving and accountability.

That is why the pipeline has a second dimension beside the job track. Nobody is trained for a job title. They are trained for the whole working life that follows it.

  • Think
  • Communicate
  • Work
  • Digital
  • Build
  • Perform
  • Lead

Discover

Every person starts with a profile, not a course catalogue.

Aptitude, communication, technical, work-style and interest assessments, then counselling, produce a Human Opportunity Profile: where someone is now, the recommended path, and the roles it leads to.

Learn · Foundation

A common employability foundation, before any specialisation.

Indicative hours. Every fresher does this, then chooses a track.

Learn · Specialisation

Ten employment ecosystems, not only IT.

A B.Tech graduate does not have to become a software developer. An MBA does not have to enter one industry. Every track leads to a first job that exists.

Build

Three things you can show, not twenty certificates.

Every track ends in work an employer can open and click. Examples of what a track would build:

  • DataSales analytics dashboard
  • JavaEmployee management system
  • AICollege admission assistant
  • CybersecuritySecurity monitoring dashboard
  • Digital marketingA complete campaign for a real small business
  • MBAMarket research and business analytics project

Experience

Work before work.

Before a full-time job, 30 to 90 days of real work: company projects, customer support, software development, sales, analytics, recruitment, digital marketing, operations, finance, administration. Internships of four, eight or twelve weeks, project internships, and apprenticeships, provided by employers who join the programme.

So that at the interview, the answer is: "I don't just have a degree. I have already worked on three real projects and completed an eight-week industry internship."

Between Experience and Earn sits the Prove gate: an industry assessment of the skills, the projects, the internship and the employer's own feedback, producing a profile an employer can trust more than a degree certificate. It is designed, not built, and it will not be called a certification until it has earned the word.

Earn and grow

The pathway does not stop at the first job.

Upskilling, progression, leadership and entrepreneurship support, for as long as the working life lasts.

  1. Year 0Student
  2. Year 1Trainee or intern
  3. Year 2Junior professional
  4. Year 3Specialist
  5. Year 5Senior professional
  6. Year 7+Manager, entrepreneur or consultant

Founding partners

Colleges and employers: help design it before it runs.

There is no cohort yet. The first partners shape the programme while it is still cheap to change, and they are named as founders when it opens.

Colleges and universities

What we ask

  • A cohort willing to do real work, not collect certificates
  • Faculty time for the Foundation, delivered with us
  • Honest feedback on what does not work

What you get

  • A pathway your graduates can point to
  • Real projects and work experience inside the degree
  • A say in how the programme is designed, while it is still cheap to change

Employers

What we ask

  • Real projects and 4 to 12 week internships
  • A named person to give feedback
  • Vacancies you would fill from the pipeline if the candidate proves it

What you get

  • Candidates who have already worked on three projects and an internship
  • An assessment you can trust more than a degree certificate
  • First access, as a founding partner, before the programme opens wider

Next: The Capacity framework — how we propose to measure what the hours freed by automation became. Both sit under the Human Opportunity Initiative.
